Bonochhaya is totally safe in rainy season, because from Kolkata it’s direct drivable road upto our stay. No need to cross any river or riding a boat.

Additionally in rainy season there are many things to enjoy.

Have you ever enjoyed the cloud burst on the green lush of exuberant paddy fields? If you are interested, come to Bonochhaya: offbeat sundarban homestay, only 110 km from Kolkata (CCU). Sure your wander-prone mind seeks something more.

Dazzling in the lightning flash through deep green ” Bine, Garan, Keora ” tree or through yellowish “Hental” bushes. Have you ever enjoyed it?

If not then we may take you to a Mangrove Safari to Dobanki Canopy Walk, Dobanki Camp, Chora Gajikhali – Pirkhali – Deulbharani creeks, Panchamukhani river crossing, mouth of Bey of Bengal or Netadhopani Watchtower (if weather permits).

From our stay you may visit sunset point at Balikhal, Sunrise point at IFED Jetty, museum on sundarban and all by exclusive E- Rickshaw: Toto.

No need to hurry you may spend your time by seating leisurely on the lap of nature.

Plenty of sea fish dishes are available in our homestay like crab, prawn, bhola, bhangon, chepti and so many.

Additional attractions: Tiger Rescue Center and sunset riding on Herobhanga River along with live folk song performances (optional), Mangrove safari through narrow creeks and enjoy Dobanki Canopy Walk, Bonnie Camp, Netadhopani Watchtower etc.

  • Sealdah to canning station is 01:45 hrs train journey.

  • Jharkhali Bazar to bonochhaya: offbeat sundarban homestay 30 minues ride by local E- Rickshaw
